A 90-day playbook: putting it all together
A practical month-by-month plan for using the whole system, start to finish.
Month one: set the foundation
The first month is about getting the brain right and seeing the first real output. Do not rush to volume; a strong start compounds.
- Write rich positioning: real proof points, real objections, a sharp pitch. Refine the draft rather than accepting it as-is.
- Connect Search Console and analytics so the engine can learn from real signal, and connect a delivery channel.
- Stay in review mode. Read the first batches, approve the good, and use anything weak as a prompt to improve positioning.
- Publish your first answer-first pages to a subfolder on your main domain.
Month two: build coverage and measure
With a solid base, the second month is about breadth and the first measurements. Citations take weeks to appear, so this is where patience matters.
- Turn on the content-gaps loop, or target gaps in batches, so you start answering the questions you are missing.
- Let campaigns spread across the distinct facets of your business and the markets you serve.
- Watch the citation tracker and the funnel. Expect early pages to be uncited at first; that is normal.
- Note which competitors keep getting cited for your questions.
Month three: strengthen, compete, and let it run
By the third month you have data, and the work shifts from producing to improving. This is where the loop starts to pay back.
- Refresh the pages that are live but still uncited, especially those with a low AEO score, into stronger versions.
- Go after the questions where a competitor is cited and you are not, using the sources list as your target.
- Once you trust the output and your positioning is settled, consider auto mode to remove the last manual step.
- Read the funnel end to end: if visits are rising but goals are not, look at the landing page and offer, not just the content.
After ninety days
Beyond the first quarter, RankMoss is mostly a light, regular habit: approve new gap answers, strengthen the pages the loop flags, and watch the trend. The heavy lifting, the research, the writing, the checking and the measuring, keeps running on its own. Your job becomes steering, not operating.
